DAMA is an image redaction application that prioritizes privacy, utilizing intelligent text analysis to automatically conceal sensitive information. Sharing screenshots and images on social media and the web often requires obfuscating private details manually, a process that is not only cumbersome but also detracts from the aesthetic appeal of the visuals.
With DAMA, this challenge is addressed through automated detection capabilities. The application can identify various types of sensitive data, including phone numbers, emails, faces, QR codes, names, locations, organizations, numbers, vehicles, currency, IDs, and IP addresses.
In addition to conventional annotation features like color bars, pixelation, blurring, and markers, DAMA offers a distinctive "Hide Text" tool. This functionality enables users to completely obscure text within an image when the background is relatively uniform.
